Florette by Josette

Josette Galiano is an immersive installation artist who creates 3-dimensional art at scale for corporate and residential environments—taking visual cue from the abstraction of florals. Her work is a metaphorical exploration into the layers of experience and interaction. Josette individually hand cuts and assembles thousands of paper structures with each unique shape informing the position of the next. Intricate fields of pattern and movement illuminate the relationship of individual parts to the collective whole.

Her work can be seen across across the country including the JPMorgan Chase downtown Dallas, TX Branch in the Hunt Building, the Corporate Research Lab in Plano, TX, and Apex Dermatology in Mayfield Heights, Ohio among other locations.

In 2019, Josette was a finalist on the reality TV competition show, "Wrap Battle," competing against professional artists and gift wrappers from across the country.

Josette holds a BFA in Industrial Design from the Cleveland Institute of Art and an MS from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. She is based in Cleveland, Ohio.
